Run a Check Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy. We handle landlord and tenant data in line with UK GDPR and industry best practices. This summary is provided for early testing and will be expanded as the product evolves.

Data we collect

Account details for landlords and agents (name, email, phone, company).
Tenant application details and uploaded documents provided via secure token links.
Usage data to improve reliability and security of the service.

How we use data

To provide credit, ID, and affordability checks requested by landlords.
To communicate status updates related to applications.
To improve the platform and maintain security logs for auditability.

Storage & retention

Data is stored securely (Postgres, Auth, Storage) hosted in EU/UK regions. Documents are kept with signed URLs by default. Data retention periods will be configurable per landlord in a future release; until then, data is retained while an account remains active unless deletion is requested.
